How can prayer help

How can prayer help beat frustration
Some of you will think that this is one of the religious talks
but is not. Prayer can do miracle in unexplained ways.
For one lowers the blood pressure , clear the Head so you can think better,
which give you time to relax and not over react.
Payer also works in the ways that can't be explained.
Let me give you example
Here in Australia we had lots of rain and in country where is not a lot of
sealed roads and even less asphalt roads. One will find it self in bad position very quickly.
So on the way home from difficult day (among other things I sell fresh fruit and vegetable ) This particular day it was specially difficult.
I couldn't wait to get home so long trip around the area was out of question. Short cut was in order. Few days before my trip the local bridge was damaged and short detour was better than 120 km long trip around the flooded area.
Every thing was great ( if you can call it this lots of bumps on the already damaged road ) but thinking how fast I will be home was worth it.
At last I could see the intersection of local main road about 30 meters away. Just one more flooded cause way and I will be safe. So I stopped to asses the situation. When a noticed my van is slowly sinking into wet sand at the side of the road. No amount of raving the engine will get me out of this one. I was bogged.
Situation was calling for calm (which I do not have in abundance or to be honest do NOT have at all).
Question "What will Jesus do" did not fit the situation. But I surrender must go on my knees and pray for miracles. Not many people travel this way in good condition not to mention flood. My van can't be seen from the main road which was also slow for last few weeks.
"I must pray" crossed my mind (what is left of it). Just want down on my knees when I realize it was wet very wet in did. About 3" minimum.
Don't want to get wet as well. Must get read-of water somehow.
No tools I started to drag sand with my heals. Making a channel at the lowest point of the road. Finally water start to move down the paddock.
15 -20 minutes later looking back I was happy with my work. But my van was still bogged in sand this time with less water around.
"Will give a other got " I thought.
Rocking it back and forward I felled it is now or never. One more back and than forward I was out of sand . Now is only water on the middle of the road left to over come. Driving slowly on the middle of the road where I thought is more solid I was out. Just about to rejoice I heard cars coming behind me. I quickly stopped the van and run back to cause way to guide other drivers not to make same mistake like me and get bogged.
Thinking back I went very well out of ordeal. Never will I complain about grave road or bad asphalt. Be nice to be on solid ground.

Where this live subject of prayer. Did I pray latter or not. Did just a thought or prayer help. How about four wheel drive Utes behind me.
It is more questions than answers. What do you think???
