Capsicum

This annual plant also known as 'Cayene', was used by the
South Americans as a condiment. Their vegetable diet had a
tendency for flatulence that Capsicum helped to correct.
Capsicum in moder times can be found in nearly all herbal
formulas (except nervines) as its properties assist in the
maintenance of peripheral circulation.
